★★ Cute Recipes App only $1.99 | TwoDollarTuesday ★★

Cute Recipes App is available for only two bucks today as part of the TwoDollarTuesday Mac App Store Deals.

Recipes is the most beautiful way to create, manage and share your recipes. It’s iCloud enabled, so all your recipes can be accessed on all your Macs, all the time. And it has a beautiful, full-screen cooking view, which you can operate entirely by gestures.

One of the great things about Recipes is it’s powerful search, so you will never lose a recipe. You can search all recipes and for any type of content. You can search by anything: an ingredient, the kind of recipe, your notes, etc.

With just one click you can also:

• Print a recipe

• Print a whole recipe group

• Print the complete library of all your recipes

• Share your recipes by email, Twitter or Facebook

• Publish your recipes, so that everyone can see, use, download and share them

• Import recipes from other Apps like MacGourmet, YummySoup or Paprika

Sharing and printing is nice – but in the end it is all about cooking. That’s why recipes has a built in fullscreen cook view that can be operated completely by gestures.

Recipes 2.0 hits the Mac App Store

After almost six weeks in review hell Apple finally approved the major Recipes overhaul. Recipes 2.0 is complete rewritten, iCloud enabled and I am pretty sure that you’ll like it as much as I do.

All your beloved recipes in one beautifully crafted place. Completely searchable. Easily sharable. With Recipes you can store unlimited recipes in unlimited groups. You can search thru all recipes and for any content – no matter if it is an ingredient, the kind of recipe or your notes. Recipes also remembers your last searches – thus all your recipes (e.g.) containing noodles are just one simple click away. With just one click you can also directly and easily: · print out the current recipe · print out the complete group · print out the complete library of all your recipes · share your recipes by email · share your recipes on Twitter · share your recipes on Facebook · publish them, so that everyone can see, use, download and share them · publish them, to access them from any mobile device – regardless of kind and system · import recipes from other Apps like MacGourmet, YummySoup or Paprika Of course, sharing and printing is nice – but in the end it is all about cooking. Thus recipes has a built in fullscreen cook view and is completely operable by gestures… Because Recipes is already iCloud enabled – you can access your recipes from any Mac, everywhere, anytime. Yes, that’s why I am already finishing up the iPad companion App. Of course, an iPhone version will also follow…

Recipes 2.0

It’s done!

Recipes 2.0 is ready to be submitted for review. It is a major update, featuring a gorgeous library view and the option to operate it with gestures. One can now also print out complete groups or even the whole library. Because it is now iCloud enabled I could already start to write an iPad companion App and because recipes are meant to be shared – one can now do this directly from within the App with just one click.

Here is an example.

I really hope that Apple will directly approve it without any complaints. In the meantime I’ll have to design/write its website and manual…

Recipes 2.0 Sneak Peek

Back and Forth

I’ve started working on a major update for Recipes and I’ve been building and trashing, building and trashing and building trashing GUIs for weeks now. Clean, cute and simple is so much hard work, sometimes.

Or often. Or most of the time.

Sometimes I really hate it. Or me. Because the moment I’ve finished an idea – I directly start to hate it.

But the first one.
Or was it the second? Third?

I guess it will take a little bit longer this time.

And now from scratch…

Submit Archived Application

I’ve just submitted my third app for the Mac App Store.

It’s myRecipes pro little sister - Recipes.
In the next days I will also submit Diary and Wallet.
