While working on an update of Dammit, to make it Retina-aware, I constantly searched for the last used PSD and Illustrator files and it hit me:
Dammit – wouldn’t it be great it if Dammit could also show the last used documents and you could access them with ease and not by using Apples cumbersome Recent Items menu?
By using shortcuts while having a nice Quick Look first?
I was able to built that in without having much trouble – but it may be possible that I don’t get it thru the review. Because App-Sandboxing now is mandatory and in order to do so I had to use one of Apples ‘Temporary Entitlements’ to allow Dammit to access a file in the user’s Library. And that file is accessed in a – well, let’s call it ‘creative’ way :–)
So, chances are that it will get rejected or at least will (once again) be hold in review hell for a very long time.
So – please keep your fingers crossed…
